Library Skills Class Postings 2007 - 2008

Happy Memorial Day!  Library classes will end on June 2 when the library closes.  There will be a used book exchange - date TBD, coordinated by Mrs. Hillman.  More details will follow.

GRADE K:  Letter of the week:

  GRADE1: Read:

 GRADE 2: Read: "The Elephant's Child" by Rudyard Kipling.  Finish title page for library books.  This year-long project will go home by June 2.

 GRADE 3: Read chapter 6 "The best in the world"; make up missing work; library video on the card catalog

GRADE 4:  Read chapters 13 & 14. "My Magic Elizabeth" by Kassirer (Detroit News Breakfast Serial)  Review biography classification with location game; DVD on fiction/nonfiction

GRADE 5:  June 2:  Read Chapter 12 & 13 of "Angela and Diabola" by Banks. Find magazine to complete bibliography working sheets.  WS on periodical index.  Turn in folders
